Day 1: Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Depart from Marrakech in the morning and travel toward Ouarzazate, crossing the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with breathtaking views. Stop in the village of Telouet for lunch and visit its historic Kasbah. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou for a guided visit, then head to Ouarzazate for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga Desert Camp
After breakfast, leave Ouarzazate and drive south through the Ait Saoun Pass and the lush Draa Valley with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Enjoy lunch in Oulad Driss near Zagora. From there, switch to a 4×4 vehicle to begin your Sahara adventure toward the magnificent Erg Chigaga dunes. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset before dinner and an overnight stay in a desert camp tent.
Day 3: Free Day in Erg Chigaga
After breakfast at the camp, spend a relaxed day exploring Erg Chigaga. Take a guided walk into the sand dunes and visit nomadic families for an authentic desert experience, enjoying a picnic lunch in the dunes. Return to the camp in the afternoon to relax, dine under the stars, and spend another night in your desert tent.
Day 4: Erg Chigaga to Agdez
Have breakfast at the camp before setting off by 4×4 across the wild and remote landscapes of Lake Iriki. Continue toward Foum Zguid for a short break, then travel to Taznakht for lunch, famous for its Berber carpets. After lunch, continue your journey to Agdez, where you will spend the night.
Day 5: Agdez to Marrakech
After breakfast, depart from Agdez and drive back to Marrakech. The return journey takes you once again through Ouarzazate and across the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon, marking the end of your trip.
