3-Day Sahara Desert Tour to Erg Chebbi

Day 1: Marrakech to Boumalne Dades

After an early breakfast in Marrakech, depart via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass across the High Atlas Mountains, arriving at the famous Ait Benhaddou for lunch and a guided visit of its UNESCO-listed ksar. Then continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses, arriving in Boumalne Dades for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Boumalne Dades to Merzouga

After breakfast, drive through the Dades Valley toward Tinghir, stopping to explore the dramatic Todgha Gorges with their towering canyon walls. Continue toward Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech

Enjoy sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast at camp before returning by camel or 4x4 to Merzouga village. Then drive back to Marrakech via the same route, crossing the Todgha and Dades valleys, Ouarzazate, and the Tizi n’Tichka pass, arriving in the evening.
